New Quantum Pty Limited (NQ), a wholly owned subsidiary of New Quantum Holdings Pty Ltd, was founded in August 2018. NQ provides Software as a Service (SaaS) to holders of an Australian Financial Services License (AFSL).
NQ’s software is integrated with a retail super and IDPS investment offer. We also offer a direct HIN and MDA service.Our proprietary software and products provide a total solution for a financial planning practice or dealer.

Jong Chung, Managing Director.
Jong has been operating companies for over 25 years and for the past 6 has been Executive Director of Enrizen Group. He has experience across a variety of industries and a wealth of knowledge of all things accounting & wealth management. Jong identifies great opportunities and executes them by ensuring the business model is right, assembling and motivating highly skilled teams, raising appropriate capital and relentlessly managing the process.
Babar Ali, Founder & Technology Advisor.
Babar has +20 years experience in delivering technology-differentiated solutions to private, public and international customers. He has served as CTO, VP, board member and general manager and led key strategic initiatives in big data, cloud technologies and next-generation infrastructure. Before New Quantum, he worked at Thomson Reuters, co-founded Goodments, an innovative FinTech firm and co-founded WealthO2 where he served as Chief Technology Officer & Co Founder. Babar is a specialist in driving innovation strategy and ensuring technology excellence and growth for his clients.
Alec Tucker, Chief Technology Officer.
Alec has a broad range of IT experience having been involved at director level in the UK, South Africa and Australia. He has spoken at local and international tech conferences and has received multiple industry awards for technical excellence and community leadership. Before NewQuantum he served as Technical Director for Unwired in the UK and MIP in Johannesburg, CTO for Goodments and Head of Mobile for White Clarke Group (now Solifi). Alec is responsible for overseeing all aspects of information technology, information security, data and analytics across the global reach of the company and for supporting the growth of the NQ business by partnering with the company’s business units on IT and analytics related revenue generating programs.
Brett Westbrook, Chief Operating Officer.
Brett has worked in financial services since 1978. He spent 15 years at National Mutual Life (now AXA) in its investments & super divisions. Brett led several major Industry Funds and has been involved in boutique financial services businesses in asset consulting, financial planning, managed account and MDA providers. In 2014, Brett founded WealthO2 leaving the business in May 2019 to work with New Quantum.
Kar Chua – Chief Financial Officer & Company Secretary.
Mr. Chua is a qualified accountant, registered Australian tax agent, member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants ANZ and have approximately 15 years of working experience in finance sector/ industries. Currently, Mr. Chua holds the position of Divisional Director at Enrizen Accounting and specializes in assisting a number of ASX-listed public companies, private businesses and start-ups with their financial, taxation, business advisory and corporate secretarial reporting.
Darlow Parazo – Executive Director.
Mr. Parazo is the CEO of DBA Group of entities, a conglomerate of technology and advisory firms, that operate as shared services outsourcing company specialising in the areas of professional services but not limited to finance & accounting, tax, facilities management, change management and legal. DBA operates on multiple jurisdictions for clients located in the Philippines, Singapore, USA, UK and Australia. DBA is one of the largest entity in the Philippines that provides KPO and consulting services for Australian financial service businesses
David Lamb, Commercial Director.
David has worked in the Financial Services industry for over 35 years. He is one of the founders of DBA Global Shared Services, a company specialising in cost effective back office outsourcing to many Australian financial planning and accounting firms. David will bring his expertise to our distribution channels, onboarding and managing our services to our customers.
