Along with being CEO of New Quantum, Shantanu serves as Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer of Beaconsfield Capital Management, where for 8 years he has overseen strategies stretching across quantitative trading, venture capital, private equity, and long-short discretionary investing. He also serves as Director of Pinewood Systems and Jha Energy, distributed solar energy companies with over 600 MW and $1 billion of projects and is a Director of Edufront, a leading education technology firm working with over 1100 schools for the underprivileged in India.

Outside of commerce, Shantanu is a board member of the India-Japan Foundation, which is the successor organization to that which created the $100Bn India-Japan Trade Partnership.

Babar is the Founder of New Quantum and has +20 years’ experience in delivering technology-differentiated solutions to private, public and international customers. He has served as CTO, VP, board member and general manager and led key strategic initiatives in big data, cloud technologies and next-generation infrastructure. Before New Quantum, he worked at Thomson Reuters, co-founded Goodments, an innovative FinTech firm and co-founded WealthO2 where he served as Chief Technology Officer & Co Founder.

A highly experienced and business and technology executive with significant successes in solutions delivery to meet critical business transformation outcomes. He also has significant experience of working across geographical boundaries having worked on multinational programmes and held region-wide roles in Europe and Asia Pacific.

Steve is an international finance executive with broad, deep experience in growing and expanding fintech and financial services enterprises from pre-revenue to $8 billion+ in sales. A proven public company CFO with a track record of acquiring, re-structuring and growing financial services and technology businesses by instituting leading edge-technology.

He has 25+ years of experience leading public companies and global organizations within North America as well as emerging Asian and international, multi-cultural environments, successfully guiding companies through IPOs, restructurings, sales and acquisitions through all types of economic and market conditions.
